Goal setting is one of the most commonly used mental skills. When used correctly, it can lead to improved performance, confidence, motivation and feeling of achievement. In this mental strength training program, athletes learn how to set, evaluate and adjust effective short- and long-term goals. The first session will focus on the SMART goals theory and setting long-term goals, while follow-up sessions will help athletes set and evaluate short-term goals that will guide them to achieving their long-term goals.
